The Review Methodology
We evaluate jackets on four criteria: warmth, construction quality, style versatility, and price-to-value ratio. Each jacket in the spreadsheet has a community score based on at least ten buyer reviews. We personally inspect the top-rated items and cross-check with warehouse photos.
The rankings below reflect the combined score. A jacket that scores high in all four categories is rare, so we also note trade-offs. Some jackets excel in warmth but lack style. Others look great but use thin insulation.

Bombers and Windbreakers
The nylon bomber at one hundred and twenty yuan tops the value chart. It has a satin lining, ribbed cuffs, and a YKK zipper. The fill is thin polyester, so it is best for spring and fall rather than deep winter. The windbreaker at ninety yuan is the lightest option, packing into its own pocket. It is ideal for travel and unpredictable weather.
Both pieces score high on style versatility. The bomber works with jeans, chinos, and joggers. The windbreaker layers over hoodies and sweaters without bulk. Neither will keep you warm below five degrees Celsius, so plan your layering accordingly.

Parkas and Varsity Jackets
The down parka at three hundred and fifty yuan is the warmest jacket in the spreadsheet. It uses six hundred fill power down, a waterproof shell, and a fur-trimmed hood. The weight is noticeable at over one kilogram, but the warmth is genuine. The varsity jacket at one hundred and eighty yuan is a style piece. The wool body and leather sleeves are authentic materials, and the fit is true to size.
For pure winter performance, the parka wins. For campus and streetwear style, the varsity is unbeatable. The spreadsheet lists the temperature range for each jacket so you can choose based on your local climate.
