Understanding the OSSBuy Workflow
After you submit an order, an OSSBuy agent purchases the item from the seller within one business day. The seller ships it to the OSSBuy warehouse, where it is inspected, photographed, and consolidated with your other items. Once you confirm the inspection photos, OSSBuy packs everything into a single international parcel and hands it to the courier.
Each stage generates a status update in your OSSBuy dashboard. The first status is Purchased, followed by Arrived at Warehouse, Inspected, Packed, and Shipped. After shipping, you receive a tracking number that works with the courier's global system.

Reading Tracking Status Codes
Common tracking events include Picked Up, which means the courier has collected your parcel from OSSBuy. In Transit means it is moving between sorting centers. Arrived at Destination Country means it has cleared export customs and landed in your country. Customs Clearance means it is being inspected by your local customs office. Out for Delivery means it is on a local truck and will arrive today or tomorrow.
If you see Exception or Held at Customs, do not panic. It usually means a minor paperwork issue or a duty payment is required. Contact OSSBuy support with your tracking number and they will provide the commercial invoice you need to release the package.

What to Do If Your Package Is Delayed
Shipping delays happen during peak seasons like November and December, and during Chinese New Year when warehouses close for two weeks. If your tracking has not updated in ten days, open a ticket with OSSBuy. They can contact the courier directly and escalate the case faster than you can.
For high-value orders, consider adding shipping insurance. It costs a small percentage of the declared value and covers loss or damage in transit. Our spreadsheet notes which product categories are most commonly delayed, so you can plan accordingly.
