What Warehouse Photos Show
OSSBuy agents photograph every item when it arrives at their warehouse. Standard photos include a front view, a back view, a close-up of any logo or print, and a tag or label shot. Some agents also provide a weight photo showing the item on a scale. These photos are your only chance to catch defects before the item ships internationally.
Request additional photos if you need a specific angle. Most agents charge a small fee for extra shots, but it is worth it for high-value items or when sizing is critical.

Red Flags to Watch For
Check stitching quality around seams and hems. Loose threads are normal and can be trimmed, but skipped stitches or crooked seams indicate poor construction. Examine prints and embroidery for alignment. A crooked logo is a common factory defect. Look for stains, discoloration, or odor marks, especially on white and light-colored items.
Compare the photos to the original listing. If the color looks different under warehouse lighting, ask the agent to confirm the shade. If the material looks thinner than advertised, request a close-up texture shot.

When to Approve or Reject
Approve if the item matches the listing description, the size tag matches your order, and there are no visible defects. Reject if there is a significant flaw that affects wearability, if the wrong size or color was sent, or if the material is clearly substandard.
For minor issues like a loose thread or a slightly off-center label, approve and fix it yourself. The cost and delay of a return often exceed the value of a minor fix. Use your judgment and remember that handmade and budget items will never be perfect.
